Hello Educators!

 The SFUSD Voluntary Transfer period is upon us! 

For those of you who are new, the voluntary transfer period is a week where current certificated employees who want to transfer to another school within SFUSD, can do so without the release of your current admin/principal. 

Although you are an SFUSD employee looking to transfer to another certificated district opportunity, you MUST complete an application for employment on the Internal SFUSD EMPowerSF Career Page as an internal candidate.

On the application, educators must select ‘Yes’ to the ‘Are you applying as an SFUSD Certificated Voluntary Transfer’ - this is an essential field of this application along with the other questions that are marked with a red asterisk (*).

Reminder….Current certificated employees may apply for a voluntary transfer at any point of the hiring season. However, an employee seeking a transfer outside of the Voluntary Transfer Period (4/15/24-4/19/24) must be released by their current administrator in order to accept a new position.
